Personal: I was born and raised in Kentucky, but some of my first memories are from a road trip with my dad to Colorado at age three. Immediately after obtaining my undergraduate and law degree from the University of Kentucky, I decided to make a permanent home in the Rockies. After thirteen great years in Colorado Springs, my wife Michelle, daughters Jo Lynn and Sadie, and Willie the Cattle Dog are moving deeper into the mountains in June 2026 to launch the Salida Office. We look forward to small town living, and easier access to whitewater, powder, and deep breaths above tree line.

Professional: Since 2013, I have prepared estate planning documents and assisted with estate, trust, and protective proceeding administration for thousands of clients – first with a small firm, and then as a solo practitioner. I am excited for the 2026 launch of the Horizon partnership, and look forward to continuing to serve my Colorado Springs clients, while expanding into the Arkansas Valley and beyond. As my passion lies with problem solving and fixing plans that didn’t quite work or never came to be, I’ll continue to focus my efforts in the helping families navigate post-death administration of trusts and probate estates.

Personal:  I was born and raised in a small town in Louisiana. I attended Louisiana State University for both my undergraduate degree and law school. Geaux Tigers!! From a young age, I spent most of my time outdoors, either in the woods or on the water. I knew that I eventually wanted to experience life beyond Louisiana and explore new places. As an outdoor enthusiast, Colorado was a natural fit when I decided to relocate. When I’m not drafting estate plans, I enjoy hiking with my dog, Briar, fly fishing, elk hunting, snowboarding, or taking it easy with my friends.

Professional: I graduated from Louisiana State University with my Juris Doctor and a Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law. I am licensed to practice law in both Louisiana (currently inactive) and Colorado. I have been drafting estate plans since 2022 and I have experience in planning for high-net-worth individuals and families with complex assets. Prior to focusing my practice on estate planning, I litigated both criminal and family law matters. That experience has helped shape my perspective on how legal issues can affect families during challenging times and informs the thoughtful, proactive approach I take when helping clients create clear and lasting estate plans.
